None of those sources can guarantee that a pump is working, the truck is staffed, the listed fuel is in stock, or a particular payment card will work when you land.

Fuel planning is therefore not just a map search. It requires checking the aircraft’s approved fuel, legal and personal reserves, airport operating information, NOTAMs, weather, runway suitability and a practical alternate.
